Haematological Alteration among Patients with Oral and Dental Health Problems in the Tripoli Region

Background: Oral health plays an important role in maintaining life functions and quality of life. Gingivitis periodontitis are two forms periodontal disease that exist on a spectrum ranging from bleeding, erythematous, inflamed gingival tissue to the loss attachment alveolar bone. Dental caries diseases most common oral ailments major causes tooth loss. Objectives: The study aimed evaluate haematological alterations among patients with dental problems Tripoli region. Material Methods: present was conducted 200 attending six medical centers region 01st March 2022 June 2022. Also, 100 healthy individuals without any or other were recruited as control group. This approved by Research Ethical Committee Libyan Academy graduate studies centers. One ml venous blood withdrawn each participant for determination parameters. data compared using SPSS Statistics Windows, Version 26. Results: results showed red corpuscles (RBCs) count, hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit value, MCV, MCH, MCHC decreased significantly (P<0.01) White cell neutrophils%, platelets count increased On hand, lymphocytes% mixed % WBCs Conclusion: It can be concluded associated significant Red MCHC, lymphocytes%, Further needed confirm these results.
